I bought these food saver bags that I could close just like a gallon zip lock. I thought my vac. Sealer would seal these. Come to find out they were different. I liked these bags as you can use them over and over. I make a lot of salad and to be able to make everything last longer is a plus. This machine does a great job of taking all the air out and keeping the food fresh.
