Fading in thigh area not for me !

I liked these except the color . The color was black but it's the distressed look which I am not a fan of . The fit was ok but I just don't care for the fading in the thigh area . It makes my legs look thicker than they are ; being short , it doesn't really do anything for me . A size 16 S and 5'2 , 185 lbs. The waist is high , the hip area is relaxed , and the have a good amount of stretch .
