The Energy Top Damper is born from American Ingenuity. To begin with the Energy Top has the tightest seal of any damper. Its made of soft compressible rubber like the gasket on a refrigerator door. This damper lid truly closes unlike other dampers that have a corner that remains slightly open. It features a powerful pivoting arm that springs the damper into the open position and holds it there every time to the correct set height. The Energy Top opens as much as 81 percent higher than the competition. The Energy Top is constructed of stainless steel and aluminum. It replaces leaky fireplace throat dampers creating an energy efficient damper that seals in air conditioning and furnace heat. It is easy to install adhering to the flue with adhesive included. Each Energy Top Damper includes a 30ft cable firebox bracket mounting hardware cool-touch spring handle and mounting adhesive.
