Quamquam erunt forsan, spectatissime vir, qui me illotis pedibus, quod aiunt, ad hoc edendi inunus accessisse dicant; nonnullis quidem certe, id quod tibi potissimum ao ceptum refero, sum spe quadam memet pro bandi aliquantulum erectus. Cum eriim tu, homo instructissimus omnibus magnarum artium disciplinis, idemque summa vitae in tegritate ornatus, haec mea paucula ne in; digna quidem duxeris, quae sub tuo nomi ne in lucem proferrentur, a reprehensione temeritatìs nonnihil abesse videor.
