Dracaena Janet Craig Compacta is a palm-like beautiful plant, which is also known as Pineapple Dracaena, Dwarf Dracaena or Dracaena Compacta. The plant has a tall, stiff trunk with transverse greenish-gray stripes. Dark green glossy elongated leaves grow in bunches on the top of the trunk, so the plant looks like a palm or an exotic tree. Janet Craig Compacta Dracaena is ideal for interior decoration due to its high aesthetic qualities and unpretentiousness. It grows best in bright spots with no direct sunlight. It can tolerate medium light, but the comfort of lighting can be reflected in the growth of foliage. Water the plant with approximately 1/2 glass of room temperature water when the top few inches of soil seem to be on drier side to the touch (about once a week depending on the growing conditions). Don’t let the plant sit in soggy soil. Dracaena Janet Craig Compacta is shipped in 3” pot. The plant prefers high level of air humidity.
