When ordering this hurricane I noted it's dimensions but was impressed with how substantial it actually is %26 also how well made. It can hold a votive or pillar candle, scent-infused sticks or incense %26 also flowers. (You could also use it as a pen or make-up brush holder or anything you choose limited only by the size of the items, your creativity %26 sense of style.) So, this hurricane is truly functional. Beyond that the hurricane is also extremely decorative. It's a stunning jewel-green color %26 is also iridescent. (Another review, although positive, noted that their vase was not iridescent %26 that the photo depicting it as such was reflection or play of light. While evidently true of that particular hurricane received by that customer, the hurricane I received was green but also unquestionably iridescent.) I was looking for a focal point piece %26 this hurricane serves that purpose well. Stylistically, it's a bit 60s or bohemian but again is so well made that it's also somewhat elegant without being stuffy.
