Islam was complete during holy life of the Prophet (ﷺ). As time passed, many activities seemingly religious, penetrated within the boundary of Islam. These activities which were not practised during the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions are innovations. The Prophet (ﷺ) warned against such innovations.
