Dramatic, lovely and big
It's dramatic, romantic and casts lights and shadows on the walls, which is a great bonus. It also appears much larger than an airy fixture of the same size. It's kind of like the Earth and kind of like night in the tropics. We call it The Big Ball. We decided to keep it, make it a focal point of our 4' wide hallway, and let it determine a decorating theme for our entry area. We use 2700k LEDs and a dimmer. Otherwise it's really bright.
