This The Pioneer Woman Stainless Steel Trigger Ice Cream Scoop is excellent for perfectly rounded scoops of ice cream every single use. It is about 8.5” long and 3.5” wide at the widest point including the trigger release. The trigger release, I must say, is the smoothest arm and I have used many times without it sticking. It hasn't rusted either but I'm sure because it hasn't been run through the dishwasher. This scoop is hand wash only. If you wash right away and not let it sit in the sink overnight then there isn't any issue getting it cleaned well. I'm sure that will preserve the mechanism. The handle is just gorgeous with its combos of pink flowers and green leaves. Also nice thick and sturdy handle which fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and thumb on trigger.

This ice cream scoop is very unique in it style and design. It has an old fashioned design that I love. The scoop is a perfect size to fit into a carton and you can make the scoops rounded by turning your wrist. None of the ice cream that I have scooped out has stuck to the scooper either.When you push the stainless steel trigger the ice cream slips right out. Very convenient. It is easy to use, clean and store. The beautiful design on the handle makes it easy for me to find in the drawer. It is solidly made as I have used it many times and it has held its form, has not bent nor has any of the color come off in washing it. I highly recommend this ice cream scoop if you are in the market for one.
