Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Chlorpheniramine is used to treat runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu. Chlorpheniramine may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. Adults And children 12 years of age and over: one tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Children 4 to 12 years: ask a doctor. Children under 4 years: do not use. Other information: store at controlled room temperature 15-30 c (59-86 f). Protect from excessive moisture. Retain carton for complete product information. Tamper evident: do not use if imprinted safety seal under cap is broken or missing.
