St. Joseph is popularly known as the patron of fathers, workers, immigrants, travelers, and several countries, and his life was recorded in the Gospels, particularly Matthew and Luke. Joseph was a descendant of the house of King David. He was known as the father of Jesus when God sent him to earth and Mary's husband.
As we start this new year, let us pray through the intercession of Saint Joseph for chaste men, men who can uphold the dignity of women, men who respect their children's freedom, and protect the sanctity of life. Men who can lead their families on their knees by praying and praising the Good Father.
