There is an option rather than just an Eotech Halographic Sight and it is called AMG UH-1 "Huey"

I own the first gen model of this same sight, so when the Gen 2 hit the market I purchased it right away. I wanted to see what the changes were to the original model and I am blown away. I loved the Gen 1, but it was heavy. The Gen 2 has solved that issue along with streamlining everything else. It truly is as good or better than my Eotechs and I own several of them. Will this replace the Eotech? No, there will never be a replacement for an Eotech, but Vortex came pretty close with this Gen 2. I like it so much that I purchased a couple magnifiers from Vortex and that is what I run on 1 of my AR's and my ACR. Great combo for a much better price that the Eotech combo, which I have 2. Just give it a try and I promise it will surprise you and with Vortex's Warranty how can you go wrong?

Awesome product!

Been wanting a holographic sight for a minute. So glad i did. It makes it alot easier and faster to find my target. Also pretty sweet that you don't have to close one eye. You get a wider range of vision and it's also NV capable. Love it! I chose the Vortex over the EOTech nit only bc its a bit cheaper but it comes with a lifetime warranty, which EOTech does not. Also the Vortex uses more pixels for the optical so is noticeably more visible. And if your looking to add a magnification scope, Vortex Magnifier's are more than half the cost of an EOTech Magnifier with the same quality in my opinion.

Phenomenal Optic

The Gen 2 is an absolutely phenomenal optic. I have about 1k rounds with this optic and couldn't be happier with it. This is my first holographic sight and I'll never go back to standard red dots. Note: If you're new to holographics, you may find yourself saying ‘The reticle is blurry/broken/distorted/whatever. No, it's not…you just have to learn how to use it. Focus on the target, not on the dot and you'll get a crystal clear image. Takes a bit of practice.
