Those are perfect in cold weather unless you wanna be outside for hours in minus Degrees . But they warm enough for walking your dog for an hour or longer on cold days. You won't overheat in those coming from outside to indoor. I would say they perfect!

Perfect baselayer for winter cycling and motorcycling. The stretchy grip of the fabric on your core is wonderful, as the material is very soft. The thumbholes on the sleeves is PRICELESS keeping wind from blowing up at wrists when wearing gloves. The mock turtleneck is comfortably snug enough to keep wind from blowing down the neck, I'm ordering the full tutleneck for that purpose as well. The absolute only 'problem I have with this item is the drab colors, if they were BRIGHT I'd use them for more than base layers. But their function and design is impeccable for coverage and warmth.
