Extreme Travel CV Axles are designed with a sliding center bar that provides up to 44mm more travel than an OEM CV shaft. Additionally, the CV joints can achieve a up to a 47 degree articulation angle compared to a maximum 23 degree articulation angle on a typical OE CV joint.
Inspect and replace the transmission mount (if worn) to eliminate off center vibration issues. Note: If the mount is worn, the articulation angle of the new replacement axle now becomes the transmission mount that is holding the transmission in the correct location, this creates a binding vibration.
