I bought these for a wedding. Normally these types of things roll down on me at the waist and cause weird lines on my thighs (think muffin top but on the leg). I had them on for 8 hours and for the first time was not thinking when can I get these things off. They provided great control without feeling suffocated. I highly recommend. I have not washed them yet and only wore them once so I can't speak to how the hold up in the long term.
