Okay, this is a great bra, but it's definitely for sleep or home/lounging, and you need to go by your true band size, or size down, possibly. These bras are incredibly stretchy, so sizing down one size will not lead to it being too small, it will just give you a bit more support. I agree that the straps seem too long, as well, but I think I needed to go with a size small and not a medium. I usually buy bras in size 34 C or D, but my band size when measured is actually 32”. I would wear a 32 D or DD, but I prefer to have the 34” band and to wear it in the tightest closure. For a bra like this, I think you should be sure to go by the actual measurement taken under your breasts. I will keep the medium to wear for sleep, but if I order more, I'll get the size small. As with all of the bras from this line from SI, the fabric is very soft and washes well. The colors are lovely, and it is very flattering on, and extremely comfortable! It is not a sports bra, and does not offer a ton of support, but I didn't expect it to.
