ZLINE KITCHEN AND BATH 8654STXWM48 ducted hood

Not too noisy, works well, and looks nice. I vented it to the wall to the left of the range (where there was a hole from the exhaust fan that was there), so I had to use three 90-degree elbows and about 100 inches total of duct. It still works fine. So nice to have after 26 years in this house without one. No more sticky kitchen. And with the good lighting, now I can really see what I'm doing. Oh, and the service was excellent: I think I received it in 2 days.

I love it. I did a good amount of research before deciding on this ZLine model. I even called a few appliance dealers to ask their opinion. I like a lot of features about this hood vent, but one detail that I think regularly gets overlooked is that the lights are in the back. This is great! If the lights were on the front, then your arms would cast a shadow over your food. The only think I didn't like about it is the extension vent pipe that it came with. It's cheap. I mounted the hood on the wall and then had an HVAC guy properly vent it outside. He installed a proper "chimney". Other than that, I love this thing.
