Exactly what every college kid needs

Sending your kid to college is stressful enough but trying to think about all the students that slept on the bed before them was grossing me out. I found this great option so before we even did anything i put this on the mattress provided by the university along with the 3" memory foam mattress pad. It was perfect. fit everything inside and zipped it up. I feel better knowing this nice new protector is what he is sleeping on.

Will buy again!

So thankful we bought this product and wish we'd had it right from the beginning when we'd bought the new mattress. It gives peace of mind by keeping out allergens, and we also love the fact that it's waterproof. There's no noise or crunchiness from the waterproof layer, which I'm extremely pleased with. One time in particular, it protected our mattress from being stained when I started my period in the middle of the night and leaked through. Was much easier to deal with that stain on the mattress protector than on the mattress! Some other reviews say it sleeps hot because it's waterproof; I couldn't really say one way or the other on that. I've always run warm during the night, and plus we have a mattress topper in addition to the mattress protector and a rather plush comforter, so any of those factors could also contribute. We didn't notice any obvious temperature differences upon getting the mattress protector, but everyone's different. Highly recommend... in fact, I'm getting ready to purchase it again as a gift for someone else.
