Textured cover complicates things

If the paper isn't completely flush with the cover it is illegible because of the texture. I believe the intention is that static will keep the paper pressed against the plastic, but that simply isn't realistic for an 11x17 sign. -edit- After my initial review (1 star), I was contacted by customer service to address my concerns. We found that cutting a piece of thick cardboard to fit behind the paper helps keep it pressed against the cover. It still isn't an ideal design, but the magnetic border and clamping frame seem to keep the weather out which is good. We had some very misty mornings and so far the ink hasn't bled. The base also seems sturdy - particularly if you are putting it on a flat surface. I'm going to purchase a circular sandbag to help weigh it down because we get some pretty strong winds and usually need this sign to be on somewhat uneven surfaces.
