Performs like a liquid, but it is a powder.

Great mineral foundation for those whom are dry or use an oil as moisturizer . This performs like a liquid or a cream to powder product but applies like a powder which it is. It provides decent medium coverage, has saturated pigment throughout, and doesn't look/feel thick or unnatural. With all that said I won't keep this. It says mattifying but it gives slight sheen that is not greasy or radiant just slightly 'velvet-like', very pretty. On me 'velvet-like' finishes turn to 'satin-like' then just shiny even after setting. In all fairness I read the ingredients and saw that it has an oil which I believe makes it easy to apply, but the other ingredients(silica) do not offset the overall finish which isn't mattifying.

My favorite powder foundation at a great price. For years I spent a ton of money on an expensive powder foundation until I discovered this one. I bought on a whim as I was completely out of my brand from Sephora. This one feels like a micronized fine pressed powder, which is so unusual for something not found at a specialty store or department store. Its also highly pigmented, not too orange or pink. Im totally sold on it.
