An unusual look at the people surrounding and involved in the care of ones with chronic, extended illness and ultimately death. It gives insight into the emotions that are often not expressed or even admitted by family members and caregivers, thus, giving permission for the experiencing of such emotions. It makes suggestions as to what would have been helpful to the author regarding all of those involved in patient care and how her church could have helped her. The chapter on "Anger" deals with how to handle it, not only in an illness situation, but also in life in general. Born on an Alabama farm, and graduated from Tate High School in Gonzalez, Florida.
