It also shows the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf of Alaska, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and the Great Lakes. I love that it has a compass so children can learn directions. It also has a legend that list all state capitals! My children really enjoy this Melissa & Doug USA Map Giant Floor Puzzle. They ask to put it together everyday. They love asking questions about the pictures, states, and oceans. There are several ways to learn with this puzzle and games you can come up with that are a good fit for your childs age.
