A great CD

I personally loved this. It was amazing for a side project. It is different from AFI of course. Most people wouldn't expect this, but I loved every song on the album. It is very unique.

Awesome!

This is one great album and it carries some sweet songs. It first shocked me by what they sounded like, but i soon grew to love it, and very quickly might i add. I admit it doesn't sound like AFI becasue it's not AFI. It's Blaqk Audio. Defenitly worth buying.

Sounds Like the Junior Boys.

I bought this because my brother in law thought I would like it. It said on the plastic that Jade and Davey from AFI were the perpetrators behind this effort. With that in mind, this doesn't sound anything like AFI. Take the Junior Boys and merge Davey's soaring and slightly grating/whiny vocals, add late 90s Nine Inch Nails, a whiff of emo, a dash of generic house music, and you get "Blaqk Audio," a name that smacks of formulaic zombie-movie sequel more than anything even remotely respectable. Indeed, on "Between Breaths," Davey sounds disturbingly like Trent Reznor-- then, on the next track, segues seamlessly into a bouncy house track that sounds like everything that ATB ever did, with a inexplicable (yet oddly appropriate) little Joy Division influence going on in the vocals. I am pretty sure this record sounds like everything these guys listened to growing up, so if you like Joy Division and morbid (yet bouncy!) techno, this is the CD for you.
