Plow & Hearth Resin Raccoon Birdbath

I purchased this raccoon birdbath with some trepidation, speculating that it would be made with thin materials and not able to stand the wind that blows constantly. Also that the water space would be low and require filling often Happily, the opposite was the case in all areas. The piece was of heavy material, the raccoons were molded with realistic accuracy, the colors are solid, and the bath part is quite deep. It has withstood a storm and strong winds with no problem. It is a great addition to a rustic garden and birds have already made it a stop. I believe that it will provide many years of enjoyment for me and the "birds".

This is an adorably cute birdbath. We placed it near our birdfeeder and have enjoyed seeing birds and squirrels drinking from it and at least one bird bathing in it. It's heavy enough that strong, gusty winds during thunderstorms have not tipped it over; however, we found it tipped over one morning after seeing a raccoon and two foxes feeding nearby the night before. We suspect the raccoon might have tried to join in the fun by climbing on top. It's easy to clean, and we were glad the water seems to be the right depth for the birds not to be afraid to use it. It came all in one piece, well-packed so it arrived in perfect condition. Shipping was quick, too, once the bath was back in stock after selling out.
