Great for Burgers!
I received this in mid October, just as it was getting too late for grilling. That didn't stop me from giving it a try in my cast iron though. I fired up the stove and threw on some burgers. After grilling both sides I tossed on the cheese and covered them up for 60 seconds or so. The results are in the photos! Great tool for any kitchen or grill master. Worked great
This sped up the melting time for the cheese on our cheeseburgers. It used to take forever to get everyone's cheeseburgers done the way they wanted them.(sometimes someone's burger might have gotten over done waiting for the cheese to melt.) I used this as a cover to help keep food warm. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Cuisinart Melting Dome
This Cuisinart Melting Dome deserves the 5 star rating simply because it's great for almost anything! Melting cheese on hamburger patties didn't become a mess on the grill and melted evenly.It keeps any type of foods flavor in and also keeps your dinner plate nice and warm till your ready to eat it! This product is very well made and heavy duty. Lastly the Cuisinart Melting Dome keeps meats, poultry or fish flavor saving juices from escaping. I give the Cuisinart Melting Dome two thumbs up!
