Fun surprise!

I have an old iPhone XR from work that they might want back someday, so when the original Otterbox Defender failed I knew I needed something reasonable to protect it. (Otterbox does have a "lifetime" warranty. They stopped making anything for the XR though, so they could only offer me a few bucks of store credit which I have no use for. I use sliding wallet cases for my personal phone and they don't make those anymore either.) I opted to try for a fun, glittery case this time since iPhone tends to have cooler cases available and I'm glad I did. the case fits well, it's actually a hard inner case with the softer shock absorption case over it which I actually like. It snapped together ok, it takes some fiddling to line everything up well enough that it snaps in the right place though. The soft case was very easy to gently press on. my only real complaint with it is that the covers for the charging port and silence switch open up, towards the front of the phone, instead of down towards the back so getting it plugged in is kind of different now. The purple color is quite vibrant, and the glitter water back is a lot of fun to play with. I expected lower quality but this is pretty decent for an old device and a few bucks.

This case is incredibly hard to get on. First you take the “jelly” part off and then the plastic part comea apart in the middle of them. Do not try to shove your phone (like we did) without taking everything apart. I havent had it long but have been stuck watching/playing with the glitter in the back for 15 minute periods sometimes. Love the case. It is not bulky. The chord part does have annoying flap that you flip up to charge but bot that bad. Easily my favorite case as of right now!

I love these cases and actually own 6!! I changr th to match my outfit each day. I have no idea why peoplw are saying it doesnt fit — perhaps they arent followong the directions. This case is designed for a snug fit but once you get the hang of separating the 3 pieces its just fine.
