I was first sent the wrong type of bed (bolsters on 3 sides instead of what was shown), I sent an email about the issue and the company sent out the correct cover. Bed is thick and feels great! Covers are easy to take off, wash, and put back on. Very pleased!!

I have tried bed after bed for my Chihuahua. She likes the donut shaped fluffy ones but after she sleeps on it for awhile the stuffing must mat down because she doesnt have much between her snd the floor and it's cold. I bought a heated bed from Walmart but the heat was pretty much on the back bolster. It did retain heat. You could feel the warmth under her body. But this bed was hard! So this brings me to this Furhaven Pet Bed. When I unpackaged this very well packaged dog bed it was lumpy! A big hump in the middle. I tried to flatten it out but that did not work. I unzipped the outer cover and pulled out the stuffed pillow inside. I took an old flat bed pillow and put that in the bed. It was flat but too thin. I unzipped the the pillow that came with the dog bed and separated a little of the pillow stuffing to distribute it to the bed corners and flattened it as much as I could. It is pretty flat now. Its a good 8 inches from the floor to the top of the cushion. It is nice to know I can put extra bed pillows in there when this pillow wears down. I would not hesitate to buy this great dog bed! Your pet will thank you.!!
