Dometic 3316250.012 Single Zone CT Thermostat Black

this is the thermostat that came on my new 2019 Dutchmen Kodiak travel trailer. when new, seemed to work flawlessly. after several months, the sensor touch stopped functioning as it did when new. on observation of the face plate, it appeared the foam material in the touch areas was deteriorating. I called the good folks at Dometic, and they were VERY helpful, and sent me a new face cover for free to try and rectify the issue. got it in 4 days! snapped it on, and it worked as good as new again. I am so appreciative of the Dometic family for taking pride in their customer's satisfaction. I was told that due to these same issues with other customers, they have designed a new and improved thermostat, but one was not available yet. I probably will order one when they are out. thank you again for your wonderful products!
