A set of five LED on the parent unit indicate the level of sound in baby's room, so you can visually monitor the noise level with the parent unit muted.
0 to 5 level volume control
The speaker volume on the parent unit is easily controlled by pressing the up or down arrow keys. When the parent unit is in mute, the visual sound indicator will still indicate the sound detected from the baby unit.
Notes on the Safety Reminder: This monitor's parent unit has preset to play an audio safety reminder when it is connected to a baby unit. You may turn it off after the initial set up of the monitor by press and hold the Vol Down key for 8 seconds.
Silent alerts
Lights on steadily in green when the parent unit is on and linked to the baby unit.
Flashes in green when there is no link between the baby unit and parent unit, or when the parent unit is out of range from the baby unit.
Keep you in the know
The parent unit emits different alert tones for situations needed your attention.
Low battery tone: Beeps twice every 10 minutes when the battery is low.
Out of range tone: Beeps three times every 30 seconds when there is no link between the baby unit and parent unit, or when the parent unit is out of range from the baby unit.
Monitoring with flexibility
This monitor parent unit and baby unit are both powered by AC power. The parent unit has a second option by 2 AAA battery so that it can be used remotely. For longer monitoring duration such as baby's nap time or over night, keep the parent unit connected to the power socket. For a quick patrol over to the nursery, the parent unit can be supported by the battery power. Note: 2 AAA battery are optional and needed to be purchased separately.
