The Front Load Washer Brake Stator works in conjunction with the appliance's rotor to rotate the spin basket during use. This part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Kenmore®, and Maytag® washers. Check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer, and novice repair experience.
