This doll was everything I thought it would be in packaging, resemblance accuracy to original in style, appearance and in its fashion statement of the early time period of Barbie...I sought this item as a replacement purchase...do not recommend for young girls to play only for COLLECTING or display...

A girl in career

Even in early years Barbie represented an emancipated women who had reached many goals, started working as Fashion Designer, in the golden age of Fashion, not the most common career for women during 50's and 60's. This 2019 Busy Gal Barbie is lovely, the dress and the doll are well made. She is good to start a new collection or just for the fun to dream how Barbie was at the begin.

Review Up-date

I just took these photos. I want to show them because she is truly one of the best #1 Reproduction Barbie Dolls. She has all the things we collectors love about vintage Barbie. Her complexion is worth noting, very beautiful. Her make-up looks so great that she can substitute for that all elusive #1 that we all wish and dream of someday finding in our collections. I am going to put her in a "zebra" swimsuit for display because I love the stand and want to display her as a #1. (I'm keeping my other Barbie in the box. Yes, I got 2!) The Brunette hair color is also an excellent choice and echos of the vintage Barbie rarity of that color. I think she will be an excellent choice for all collectors. I am so happy with the 60th Anniversary Barbie Dolls! Thank you so much Mattel.
