Really nice! A+

DG Hill Merino wool blend long length socks area blend of: 80% Merino wool 17% Nylon 2% Spandex 1% Elastic. I've lived in the sub-arctic cold of northern Maine and almost all the way south to the equator. I'm a woman of above average stature, long legs, size 10 woman's shoe. I live in the desert now and though it gets really hot here, I wear heavy duty steel-tooe boots to give good support and protection from animal attack and mesquite thorns. Cross country skiing in deep winter, I often had to cool down. The necessity of dressing properly to avoid hypothermia, meant wearing wool. No cotton dressing in high humidity, either. Wool is my choice footwear. It does not soak up sweat, but naturally wicks it away. These socks are super comfy for cross country of any type. The thick cushion all the way from toe to top prevents chaffing. This pair is a soft, pretty color helping me remember 'I am Woman! Women's boots and socks just don't hold up for me. They seem to be flimsy, thin, or too small. I take a Men's 8 boot. This sock would fit larger feet, too. Man or woman...I rate this boot sock high.

Very nice winter wool socks, cannot wait for snow.

I love summers and we picked these up for use this coming winter, yes I can wait for snow. These are very well made and should give me many years of usage. The blend is good as they do not ride down and the Merino wool means no itch for most people. These are long enough to wear them with my snow boots and the wool keeps your feet toasty warm.

Soft and Warm

You can't beat wool! Thank goodness these are not scratchy because if they were I'd have to disclose that. I will say that the shaft of the sock is narrow so if you have huge think calves you're going to have to push them down a bit. But, I do like them and with Texas' bad winters we've had lately, they're going to be used!
