A mighty hurricane in a small size. I purchased this replacement for another cuisinart blender I have had for over 10 years. Wore it slap out. The new one is smaller but wider (holds the same amount) but is compact. I have used it so far for smoothies and margaritas and both came out perfect. Highly recommend

When my son came home from the service he bought bags of fruit for smoothies. The old blender just wasn't his preference for those smoothies so I chose the Cuisinart because it had travel cups.
