Instructions
• Adults: when practical, cleanse the affected area by patting or blotting with an appropriate cleansing pad
• Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before application of this product
• Shake well before using
• Hold 3 to 6” away from rectal area, spray to moisten and then wipe off excess, if desired
• Apply externally to the affected area up to 4 times daily
• Children under 12 years of age: consult a doctor

I bought multiple items for relief over several days, I seriously spent a mint on different products trying to find relief without losing my sanity. This one was the ticket. Immediate relief one you find the best angle for application. TMI but I have to help a fellow human out on this awkward time in life, sitting on the toilet or squatting down was the best angle for application. Good luck!

Worked Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rapid relief spray w/lidocaine by Preparation H works really well especially with numbing the affected area rather quickly. There is a slight burning when first spraying but then subsides and the numbing kicks in. I like that there is no mesh with having to apply yourself, the spray works great at getting right at the area I need it to. After a few days of use the irritation has gone away and the affected area isn't swollen or painful anymore. The lidocaine works phenomenally at numbing the skin or affected area and allow some pain relief and back to feeling comfortable in no time. I will be buying and using again as needed and would recommend to others.

Woke up this smornin with an external hemorrhoid the side of a marble. never had one before. i phoned my sister who has a bunch of backsided issues and she recommended this along with 5% lidocaine cream. best way to apply is this... ya get all hunkered down in a crab style move. shake the can like youre a mariachi dancer. stay steady, aim it towards ur brown eye and spray. when u stand up, u should feel like u have a clam full of foam. it stings at first but then numbs. once its pretty dry, you take the cream on ur finger tip and place it in the center of ur stink eye. Best way to do it.
