Saltwater Nylon Duck Boot - 100% yes!

Super comfortable duck boot, surprisingly stylish. I needed a pair of waterproof/resistance, boots preferably, for a trip to Europe. I knew that I would be walking about 5-7 miles / day possibly in these so my choice couldn't clunky/work-centric boot. I happen to check out the Sperry website on a whim and found these to be on clearance. They come with the laces seen on the boot, as well as a all-black pair, which I laced up. The boot itself if very comfortable. The other dad in our group that saw my boots asked where I got these as he thought the red pull tab on the back of the boot seemed to indicate it was a 'high-end luxury' brand. I have slightly wide (and flat) feet and even with orthopedic insoles, these boot had a very comfortable feel around my foot and the toebox, even with thick wool socks did not feel cramped. The lacing of the boots is very easy as the laces, when pulled, didn't immediately slack back. The tug loop in the back of the boot also helped to easily slide on the shoe. The quilted 'hi-top' sides made for a very comfortable feel and complimented some additional warmth of my wool socks. This upper is meant for comfort, not being a rigid work boot. Lastly, the waterproof-ness stood up to the quick showers and puddle dodging that I had to experience throughout the day. At the end of the day, socks were dry and the boots are easy to clean with towel/warm water. The grip on the bottom of the sole also provided the support and confidence to step onto drenched concrete. For the price I paid for these, I would recommended 110%. Really love the form and functionality of this shoe.

Perfect!

AWESOME, love them! Just what I was looking for, the perfect little boot for a spring or fall day when it's wet and cold out! Love that they sent two sets of laces with!

Not a single complaint. In fact, nothing but love.

Absolutely the best duck boots out there. Not glossy at all. I bought the green only because the other colors were out of stock in my size. I'm so glad I did. The nylon upper is really the perfect combo. These boots are rugged and clean off very easily. I used a small rag and they looked like new, and I was wading in mud. The profile is perfect, not too clunky like my sorrels. My first time wearing them we had freezing rain, and I was working with horses and dogs - tons of mud puddles, snow and ice. Feet stayed dry, and mostly warm, with regular cotton socks that I also wear in the summer. It was about 25-30F ambient. Probably not the best boot for a full day in ice, but that's really not what these are designed for. I'm a 12-12.5 in the regular boat shoes without socks, the 12 in the boots is a perfect fit with just enough room to wear a thick wool sock. Most important take home: my feet felt good, and a bonus is that I looked good :).
