This pole saw has 2 feet more reach than the other one I own. The extra reach helps keep me off the ladder during clean up from the ice storm. It 's a little heavy, but balance is achievable with the great handle provided. The offset of the saw helps keep the weight on the branch being cut. So far it has been a great investment.
