Sleep Studio 4" Orthopedic 5-Zone Foam Mattress Topper

Bought this for my daughter's dorm bed-based on another review I bought the king size and cut in half for twin xl bed and it fit perfect! It does have an odor at first, but dissipates within a day or 2 out of the box, no smell detected at move in. Her first night away she said she was able to fall asleep quickly and she doesn't miss her bed at home:)

I had looked at other mattress toppers that were much more expensive and decided to try this one. It comes shrink wrapped and needs to be opened and exposed to the air for about 48 hours, during which time it will expand to its normal size (I just laid it over the couch in the living room). It's comfortable to sleep on, but I noticed that it seems to retain warmth more than just the regular fabric mattress pad. The advantage there is that I haven't needed to turn on my electric blanket since I put it on, but it remains to be seen whether this will be an issue in the summer. I think that it's a good value for the price (so far) and would therefore recommend it.
