This bed is terrible quality. I bought this for a7 year old. the decorative wood panels come off very easily. The one on the foot board come off during assembly and one of the panels on the headboard recently come off when the bed hit the wall; without direct contact to any pull. The bed is also very squeaky; the mattress has to be routinely removed and all hardware tightened or the bed squeaks through the night with usual movements during sleep.
