Works with HP ProDesk 400 G5 DM

It has been very confusing trying to find the right USB Type-C Flex IO card for the ProDesk 400 G5 DM (mini). Documentation for the G5 says 3TK78AA/3TK78AT or this 6VF54AT. I assumed the latter is for PD. I received a cardboard box marked 6VF54AT but the static bag said "HP PIN: L54681-002" which translates (on seller sites) to a 3TK79AT. I plugged it in anyway and was surprised that it worked! For data transfer anyway, initial display test did not work and haven't tried Power Delivery (only have a 65 W PS). I'm guessing that the difference between the 6VF54AT and other 3TF79AT may be the connector cord between the card and motherboard. This card has a socket with 2 rows of pins whereas some 3TK79AT have only one row or no socket at all. BTW, cable to MB and a USB-C cord were included. Bottom line: I'm happy that it works for data transfer!
