Not safe for food. Not good quality.

All of the containers arrived very dirty. The glass was very cloudy and had some sort of chemical on them. I tried to wash it off and put them in the dishwasher. Then the wires that attache the lid came out of the dishwasher flaking metal off. I do not think these are safe to put food items in them
