Hop-a-long unicorn or weapon for a two year old?

I thought it was a terrible idea for my toddler grand daughter but Mom said it was 'so cute'... it really is adorable. Being a seasoned mom and gma I saw noise making stuffed animal on a stick. Sure give it to a 2 1/2 year old lol. How could this go wrong, right? The child loves it. Not only did Gma provide transportation and a new friend but a wonderful pink weapon against the older sister and year old brother. Mom can't fuss at me. It is well padded and the stick portion is plastic blow mold so it bends before hurting the baby brother. I'm enjoying the show. It's not overly loud or obnoxious ... well compared to the gaggle of children...but the nine year old was quick to point out she was not sure it really sounds like a unicorn. Kids lol
