This cough medicine had a higher expectorant and also had a cough suppressant in it.. A lot of your cough suppressant don't always have a high expectorant in it. You have to have that to get the mucus up. I don't alway use the suppressant until I see that I'm getting better to help me not cough as much. We need to get all the mucus up. I had a doctor tell me one time that we need to start at the sinuses first dealing with colds. They usually start in the head so you need Benadryl to dry the allergies and sinuses up then go down into the lungs. So we also need to be treated with something for our mucus in our lungs. We need it coming up and out. We don't just treat one, you treat both. That always made sense to me. Of corse if there's fever, coughing yellow, green or bloody mucus go to the Doctor right then. to me. I hope some of this may of helped. ❤️

I have used the Max yet, but the multi symptom is good as well. Check with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication.
