This shelf is narrower than some others, which is exactly what I needed for my application. The shelf is solid and well made. It is easy to adjust and has holes that can be optionally used to secure the shelf to a support. I knocked off 1 star because the threaded holes used to assemble it were constricted by a thick coating of paint. You could probably force the screws into the holes despite the paint, but I happened to have a thread tap of the right size (M4, I think) in my tool box, so I used that to clear the paint from the threads.

Shelves are very sturdy. Put in china cabinet to hold dishes and I don't need to worry about the shelf collapsing. Liked that I could expand them to fit the shelf and maximize storage, Black blends in with cupboard so you don't notice the shelves through the glass doors.
