Best shower valve

I have a whirlpool tub with both a fixed shower head and hand-held wand. This valve is the best control for all -- a single temperature control and individual push button knobs for each function. It is beautiful and provides controls in one coordinated unit. I love the convenience of the one-touch feature, which is simple and intuitive to use. It's my favorite feature in my new bathroom remodel.

Won't fit into standard partition,

This valve is 3" thick from the back of the tile backer board, and needs to be screwed onto blocking behind it. Once you add the blocking behind it, it won't fit in your standard 3.5" thick partition.

Thank you for reaching out to GROHE Consumer Connections. We are sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with our product. The rough box is designed to be cut to fit with your installation. There is room for this rough in a standard 2x4 wall once you factor in that you will have green board or Hardy backer board added to the thickness of your wall plus the thin-set and title thickness. I hope this helps explain the installation a little bit more. Horrible, doesn't control pressure or temperature

The switch is full on and does not allow you to control the pressure coming out. Very annoying for wands and body spray. Does not allow you to control temperature well, the water never gets hot.

Hello, thank you for the feedback on this product and we apologize for the experience you have had so far. Both issues will be caused by the calibration of the cartridges. Please make sure the volume control cartridges have been set with the ridge on the body being placed at the 9 o'clock position. This will allow for a 50% change in the volume of water. When setting the temperature the handle will need to be removed and the blue cartridge stem rotated until the water reaches 100 degrees. The handle then needs to be installed with the button at the 12 o'clock position. This will give a temperature range of 70-110 degrees.
