Black Diamond Sprinter Headlamp Ultra Blue

The original Black Diamond rechargeable orange and white headlamp had a separate charger and was heavier. The red strobe on the headlamp had to be turned off every time the headlamp was turned on. Don't get me wrong. It was a fabulous headlamp and lasted for years. The kinks were worked out of the new model. A sleeker and lighter unit, the new Black Diamond headlamp is overall a better buy at about the same retail price. I'm overwhelmed that replacing my old headlamp was possible. I am sincerely grateful that Black Diamond is continuing on the path of excellence by inventing rechargeable headlamps that are not only affordable, but a delight to use. Oh... I almost forgot. The new generation headlamp charges faster too.

We bought two for the Cascade Lakes Relay...they worked like a dream! Great illumination for the front and nice rear visibility for the overnight section. The headlamp is very light and comfortable to use while running.
