I purchased (2) of these to install under our air mattresses for camping, in case it would rain, and to prevent morning humidity. I am happy of my purchase. The water didn't go through, and it helped to prevent humidity to go through our picnic blankets also. We haven't used it yet during rainy days, so I can't comment on that.
