Bad quality

Had to buy this in store, it was so soft. After the first wash, it pilled badly. After a couple more and washing/drying according to the care instructions, it came out stuck together and after being gently pulled apart (next day, thoroughly cooled) I'm left with this. Very disappointed in quality, super cute until then. Not sure if Walmart store would let me return since it looks like it's been through a million washes at this point, hate throwing away money though. Pants were also pretty tight from the get go, so maybe size up.
