I absolutely love this. I have always gotten so hot at night. I used a similar unit that broke quickly. This one is not as sleek but I love that if the pump goes out it is easy to replace. Also rather than cloth pad this is plastic. It doesn't feel quite as good as the cloth one but it is much cooler. I end up getting cold at night. I used to have to have a fan and ac blowing on me constantly but now I keep my ac at 80 and half the time I don't even use a separate fan. Highly recommend this unit
