I've been looking for a winter tire for decades that made me as happy as a set of Vredestein's I bought in the early 80's. I finally found them. I knew as soon as I drove away that these were what I've been looking for. They haven't disappointed yet. We've driven on ice, through snow and rain and I have complete confidence in the tires traction and control. No squirming on dry pavement either. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. Road noise is minimal for a snow tire, as good or better than the stock all season tires were. I like these better than the WS80's I had on a Malibu. I can't say enough about them and have been telling family and friends. It's not the ability to go faster than anyone else, it's the advantage you get over everybody else in control and stopping ability.

The BEST winter tires I've ever had!

I did a lot of research before I bought these. I learned that although they will wear out a little faster than others, they grip to ice and snow better than any. Do they ever! It's the end of January and I've had these on my SUV since November. I have not slipped even one time! Even when coming in a little hot to a red light in an icy intersection. I hate winter driving (a little scared of it in fact) but these tires have made me feel so safe compared to any others I've purchased, the fear and hate is gone! I don't care if they wear out a little faster, I'll keep buying these tires for as long as I live in I place where I have to!

Very impressed with these tires

I recently put blizzak dm-v2 tires on my ford f150 2 wheel drive Tonight I got to put them to the test... coming up an icy snow covered hill I had to come to a stop behind 2 other cars That were stuck Since my truck is only 2wd and I had no weight in the back i was a little worried about getting moving again But I pulled around the cars and passed them no problem with almost no tire spin.... all I can say is I'm very impressed with these tires would highly recommend them to anyone
