Right out of the box this pole saw was impressive. I was most surprised by the ease it cut through limbs up to 7 inches....that was the biggest i cut...I feel it could cut through even larger. Self oiling worked great, easy to tighten chain and the piece if very well balanced. I would recommend this Skil product to anyone.

Exceeded Expectations

I'm a big fan of the ECHO Weed Eater & Edger attachment and (Gas Powered Equipment). I needed and Extension Pole Saw & ECHO offered on for the Weed Eater Head. When I bought it and began using it the saw wasn't nearly long enough and the Chain Oil leaked profusely no matter how many attempts at adjustment I made. Needless to say I returned it. I was hesitant on purchasing a Battery Powered Saw due to lack of power. This SKIL has definitely changed my mind. It went through around ten 6" branches easily and barely used any battery. The length of the extension and sturdiness of the extension is great and I wasn't covered in Bar Chain Oil ! This Skil Pole Saw has exceeded my expectations of a battery operated tool !!!
